The
Rundown.

TUDN is the rebrand of Univision Deportes after the merge with Televisa's sports content. A new brand and more content meant it was only right to create a sports-centric streaming service aimed at providing the best in-class product for their customers. So, that was my task - create the best sports service on TV and Connected TV devices.

My approach is different when creating these types of sports services, in contrast to a traditional entertainment service. Sports products are more urgent and you can expect when they'll be used, as opposed to entertainment products that are lean back and have broader engagement.

On initial load users are met with a dynamic hero that promotes the most popular event. This layout highlights urgency, giving users quick entry points into the live content they came here to watch.

For those that are late to the party or for the power users that like to watch replays and highlights, they can pick and browse their favorite leagues.

Stay For The
Experience.

Providing and in-depth interactive video player was part of the plan to keep users within the same experience but provide flexibility in what they want to watch. Really useful on match days to easilty switch between games.
